Adam ThomasAdam began his journey as a member of youth club at the age of 14. Adam has developed into a mature and confident young man and has been very much a spokesperson when it comes to organising and delivery of recreational and educational activities at the centre. Adam continues to be a full time carer to both his mother and grandmother and yet still find time to attend three nights per week for youth club. Adam is dedicated to the centre and the staff, volunteers and his peers are very grateful for his input. As a result of his hard work and dedication this year Adam has become a valuable asset to the team. It has been a joy to see how much Adam has flourished over the years and he has proven that believing in yourself you can achieve anything you hope for in life. Adam is also a valued participant in our Music/media project where he has continued to develop his guitar techniques and music writing skills.
Please refer to a short film where you can hear about Adam’s journey.
Without the support from the centre 63 I would not be where I am now! I now have the confidence to do things that I thought I could never achieve
