Covid 19 - Volunteer Hub

Our Charity quickly set up a Covid-19 Volunteer Hub to help reduce, poverty and disadvantage to those who were struggling during this time, including those who were housebound. We were able to feed over 2000+ families, through our regular deliveries of food parcels direct to their doors. The additional services we provided during lock down became a lifeline to many vulnerable residents in Knowsley.

As a Charity we were and are committed to supporting people and communities experiencing significant social and economic deprivation and we were able to offer a variety of roles in tackling financial exclusion by promoting initiatives that not only provided direct support to people, but as a third sector organisation we were able to build capacity to develop financial resilience within our communities.

Centre 63 worked in close partnership with Red Neighbours, who donated meals prepared by their chefs and Everton in the Community who provided food hampers and donated fresh groceries every week to address the poverty issue that escalated due to COVID-19.
